“Bab oil and gas development process”
Oil development in the United States and Canada has been a major source of jobs for millions of Americans, and some say the boom could continue.
President Donald Trump has been vocal in his support for the project, calling it a “once in a generation opportunity” to boost American manufacturing.
Trump has also been quick to criticize the project’s supporters, saying the companies are taking advantage of “the greed of the world.”
In the face of growing opposition to the project from environmental groups, some politicians have backed it.
The United States has the highest per capita production of oil in the world, and the development of oil and natural gas in the country has been an important part of the country’s economy.
Environmental groups say the proposed oil and geothermal development, called the West Belly Project, is a threat to the countrys environment and will destroy wildlife habitat.
A spokesperson for the company that plans to drill for oil in West Bakersfield told the Los Angeles Times that it is concerned about the negative impact the oil development project will have on the region.
According to a March 2016 report from the U.S. Geological Survey, West Bakerfield has been hit with the most severe drought in decades, with more than 40 percent of the state experiencing below-average rainfall.
In a statement, the company said the pipeline’s planned oil and hydraulic fracturing operations would be the largest in the nation and would lead to thousands of new jobs and economic growth.
“The pipeline will provide billions of dollars in tax relief for our state and region and the benefits to our local economy will exceed the anticipated impacts of the project,” the company stated.
